The 5BOP Luggage Wrapping Service gives a complete innovative service to the passenger who decides to have their baggage protected. Our qualified personnel use the original SWS wrapping system (SWS = speed-wrap-system) which, in a few seconds, allows to wrap the passenger’s baggage in a plastic housing. 

It provides protection to the baggage in case of, bad handling, dampness and acts as a deterrent to theft or pilferage.

The plastic film we use is non-toxic and 100% recyclable. It also provides the efficacy of X-Ray safety systems unalterable.


The latest generation wrapping stands (5BOP Luggage Wrapping Service) are made in accordance with concept tests and are identified by a layout aimed at optimizing each space in relation to passenger flows. This balances the common demands for comfort and operability and maximizes commercial return. 

The 5BOP Luggage Wrapping Service has a modular / dynamic layout meaning our structure is able to adapt to the changing demands of modern airports and railway stations. It never becomes intrusive as our structures due to its mobility, elegance and versatility, meaning we are able to best meet architectural and logistical adaptations where the airport and railway station wishes to change its own image and layout.  

Operating Model

Our Operating Model is simplistic in nature. 

We are situated at Lanseria and Nelspruit (KMIA) Airport, this allows us access to passengers travelling Nationally and Internationally.

Prior to boarding their flight, passengers can have their luggage bags or any movable cargo shrink wrapped.

The shrink wrapping process takes less than a minute, a rapid, time and cost saving method which perfectly aligns with the airport’s fast moving and continuous revolving schedule.

Staff are not only trained in the technical and logistical use of the wrapping machine, but Customer Service orientated, which is a key criterion to our operating model.

Human resources being our most valuable asset, the well being of the staff are always prime and prominent.   

The Community and The Environment

5BOP Luggage Wrapping Service subscribes to Corporate Social Investment and Responsibility and equally believes that SME’s has a major role to play in such initiatives.

We further believe that community enhancement initiatives, such as job creation does not exist in isolation but our environment rightfully deserves attention and investments, no matter how small the contribution.

As a job creation and skills enhancement initiative, we utilize the services of the “Born Free” generation by transforming them into Customer Relations and Sale Agents. They are the back bone behind the sales forces and distribution of pamphlets at the same time ensuring that the passengers receive a 5*Buoyant Operationally friendly and Professional service.

These agents are encouraged to further their studies by using their earnings and Customer Service skill’s they have acquired.

Although the plastic film used to wrap the baggage is biodegradable, as a free service to the passengers, if they had their bags wrapped at their departure points and disembarking at Lanseria or Nelspruit Airport, we will safely unwrap their luggage bags and place the used plastic films in a recycle bin. Funds generated from this initiative will be donated to a charity that is involved in the preservation of our environment.

Other initiatives, but to mention a few, includes heating up the used plastic and molding it into sculptures and various other art creations, such as decorative dishes and bowls, etc. There are many artists in the surrounding communities that will benefit financially from this initiative and use their artistic skills to create environmental and recycling awareness
